I bought this bike on eBay about 4 years ago and have put about 2500 miles on it since then. I have put several hundred mles on it this year. I have 5 bikes and have been unemployed now for over 5 months, so very reluctantly some of them have to go. Well, I am finally back to work (yippee!), but wife says some of these still should go. So, even though I do not really want to sell this, I am relisting it and lowering price to show her "I tried. . ." I will not be relisting my black CB1000C and I really hope this doesn't sell. Rode it July 4th weekend so mileage is a little higher again. And I can no longer deliver it outside New England since I am working again. 1983 Honda GL1100A Aspencade - final year for the 1100 with many engneering improvements - front suspension, braking system split, etc. No titles in Maine for anything older than 10 years. What I know and have done: (I keep complete records and most receipts on everything - will give to high bidder) 2 new tires this spring - Dunop Elite IIs - Dyna Bead dynamic balancing Cleaned, added speed bleeders and bled all brakes this spring New AGM battery and starter last winter Progressive front springs Rebuilt carbs from top rated nationally known rebuilder Valve adjustment All fluids drained and replaced Radio, Tape and CB were working, radio & tape still are, don’t know about CB as I never use any of this stuff. Previous owner wired something hot all the time, which will drain battery over week or two of sitting. I always disconnect ground if it will be sitting for a while (takes less than 5 minutes to disconnect-connect) I have the original side cover if buyer does not like the gray unicorn on the current one. Will need minimum: Nothing really - I am riding it regularly Should also do following routine maintenance: Thorough clean and polish Might also need to do following soon Small hole in one side of exhaust, I patched with exhaust tape Slightly low compression in one cylinder (125-160-160-160) Seat recovered or replaced - has small tears in seam The rear shocks do not seem to be able to be pumped up using the built in compressor. Might be seals in compressor or shocks. I have many parts (used) available for this bike. I will work with high bidder to supply anything I have for very reasonable cost. I will sell bike at Buy It Now of $2500 and include 2 rebuilt heads, one used exhaust (left side I think), one set manual inflate shocks (these may be on bike if I get time to work on rear shocks Memorial Day weekend). As is where is (Maine). I will deliver/ride it in New England area for reasonable fee. I will ride it down to RI for free, if that would work better for buyer - either to save $$ on shipping or to pick up and drive home. T.F. Green airport (Providence) is 15 minutes from me. I will not arrange shipping, except for above, but will help buyer’s shipper load bike. $500 deposit within 3 days of auction close. Balance paid on or before pickup (within 7 days).
