You (the buyer) are responsible for all shipping charges and any costs incurred getting the vehicle to its final destination. 1970 Opel GT 2-door coupe When I first bought this car I had a Weber carburetor installed. Although the car qualified to obtain an emissions waiver from the State of Washington, my mechanic managed to get it to actually pass the emissions test with the Weber. We also replaced all the seals to stop fluid leaks and did a lot of mechanical repairs. The car was originally owned by a professor from the University of Washington and his family. I was the second owner. I used the Opel to commute on the east side of the Seattle metropolitan area and probably put on about 5000 miles each year for 3 years. The car has been garaged and not driven much since 2002. Unfortunately, it is on its second odometer (replaced before I bought it) so I have no idea as to the actual total miles. Pros: Body is in great shape with no rust or damage Starts right up and runs smoothly Battery is one year old Everything works including the radio Cons: Definitely need to be totally stripped, primed and painted Small dent over front bumper – should pop right out (see pics) Interior needs new headliner, rear deck vinyl, carpet on driver’s side Small crack on top of dashboard Probably need to replace some seals again Need to replace rubber muffler restraints
