Here we have a 1975 CB750 K5 which I believe is one of the last years of the classic CB look that started in 1969. I have had this bike for 3 years and it has ran well for me. I have probably put 3000 miles on it. New: Handlebars and tires. I also replaced the seat which was an aftermarket Corbin. Now it has a CB seat, though I think it comes off an earlier one. The pipes are the 4 into 2 which are not the original. Issues: Leaks a little oil, probably from the hose coming out of the oil tank. It did not seem to use any since it always stayed at the same level. There is a 2 inch crack in one of the sidecovers, and there is some wearing on the sidecovers from someone's leg against them. Some surface rust on the gas tank, and maybe a small dent. When warming up, it doesn't respond well to the choke. I have had the best luck turning up the idle for a few minutes until she is warm, then back it down. Electric start works fine. Chrome is Very Good to excellent, paint and decals are very good for age of bike. No title, but transfer of registration works in Maine. I am probably the third owner. I love the early CB motorcycles. However I am trying to be practical and admit I am not a collector. I don't have the maintenance know-how to maintain as I should. It has been a fun ride for me, but I also need to think of my wife who needs a new bike and this one is too tall for her.
