1996 Nissan Maxima, 5speed, Black on Black. VERY RARE! This is a rare 96 Nissan maxima 5 speed with many upgrades and a black cloth interior. I am the second owner of this car and have driven this car for the past two and a half years as a daily driver. I purchased the car in stock condition and what you see is what I’ve done over the last few years. I have invested a lot of money and time in this car and cannot be more pleased with the outcome. I have all original records to this car and all documented maintenance done since it was brand new. The car is in amazing shape and drives great to have 213,000 miles. Do not let the mileage scare you. I purchased the car with 180,000 miles and had a brand new clutch and complete engine overhaul done immediately. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles since the day of purchase in 1996. The only reason I am selling is because I’m a college student and have 3 vehicles and I am selling this one along with another maxima. I really just need the money. It was a very hard decision to decide to sell this car. I’ve gone back and forth deciding for nearly 6 months. I am a very reasonable person and understand the buying process of a car. I definitely would like to drive a car before I purchase, so any test drives or questions are welcome. Upgrades · 97-99 front bumper along with custom carbon fiber lip. · Cold air intake · N3 racing exhaust that sounds amazing. (Very deep tone, not high pitched like some annoying Honda civics…) · 2008 anniversary 350z rims · Drilled and slotted rotors · Ksport coilover suspension, 36 way adjustable camber, height, and shock stiffness. The car is lowered nearly 3 inches in front and 2 ½ in back and still rides great. (Car handles like a race car.) Car can be raised back to stock height with a very simple adjustment if desired. · Custom grill that I made myself from fiberglass and mesh. · Blacked out turn signals. · Front strut bar. · Short shifter. · Neon underglow under the dash. · Aftermarket blue gauges. (also 5 other colors available) · Pioneer radio. · Aftermarket headlights. Skyline lights. The Bad · The check engine light is on because the downstream oxygen sensor is not connected to the new exhaust. I have driven this car with the light on for at least a year and it has not caused any problems. I’m sure connecting the O2 sensor would be very simple and the car could be taken to a local AutoZone and be reset and turned off for free. · The antenna does not come out and retract and has been this way since I purchased the car. This does not affect the radio much at all. · There is some very slight oxidation on the hood, roof, and trunk. (This is not bad at all.) The paint is actually very good for its age. There are 3 small windshield chips from rocks. No leaks…
