This is a 1996 Ford E250 Cargo Van. Dispite the low miles this was a work truck that spent most of it's life either parked or traveling short distances. The 5.8L eight cylinder engine runs great with no miss or smoke. The automatic transmission, with overdrive, shifts smoothly without hesitation. The vehicle was Maryland State inspected when purchased by the current owner in June 2009 with 93743 miles. Very few miles have been added since then. The previous owner was a local municapality. The exterior has a few dings that one might expect for a 1996 vehicle. There are some superficial rust spots, especially around the ladder racks, but nothing structual (see pix). The tires have about 50% left (see pix). The windshield is chip and crack free. The lenses are bright and clear. The brakes, steering and suspension seem good. The interior is vinyl. The floor has a rubber mat, as does the cargo area. No major interior damage, only normal wear for a vehicle of this age. There is an am/fm radio. It has heat and air but the AC might need a charge now and then. Windows and locks are manual. This vehicle is being offered by a Maryland Used Car Dealer.
