Vehicle Detail
1970 Triumph Daytona T100R Bobber. Up for auction is a 1970 Daytona with a hardtail frame done in a traditional 50s style hot rod, board tracker style with an oil tank and tool box from a 1950s Triumph. Has various era correct accesories. New top end and bottom end with only about 600 miles on it. Have reciepts for some of the work. Front brakes have started to squeak a little when used ....so I just loosened them up and don't use the front brake right now.....I was going to put a spoolie on anyway. Starts up in a couple kicks and runs and sounds great. Has battery eliminator, but there is back up battery in the tool box. This isnt a highway bike! Around town is where it is most comfortable, I dont take it much over 55mph. Has some nicks and scratches from normal use....but this is no rat bike, it is very nice looking bike with a great stance that people comment on wherever it is taken. It does leak some oil in the usual Triumph locations... this is an old british bike so they need valve adjustments and tinkering now and then so be aware this isnt a Honda. No speedo, no gas gauge....no electric start, its a hardtail and rides like one. .040 bored over with fresh hone and rings Fresh bottom end with conrods bearings, bearings, new sludge trap and oil pump New clutch friction plates New Throttle, brake and clutch cables Black powder coated rims New Biltwell seat New MAP oil filter Powder coated MCM fork covers 1972 rocker covers for easy valve adjustments 1968 Badges....best looking(in my opinion) Bike is sold as is, shipping is all at the buyers cost Any questions please ask. Thanks
