Untitled Document 2000 Volvo S80 T6 Fully Loaded! This auction is for a 2000 Volvo S80 T6. The car itself is in great condition. It is an inline 6 twin turbo! It comes with: 4 disc CD changer Front, Side, and curtain airbags Sunroof Tiptronic transmission that can be switched to manual control Heated Seats Dual-Zone Climate Control w/ AC Power Seats Stereo & Cruise controls on steering wheel Front and rear fog lights Sylvannia Silverstar Headlights Keyless Entry Alarm System Spare Tire w/ Jack Two Keys & ALL manuals Self dimming rearview mirror Unfortunately there is a major engine problem that I do not have the time or money to fix. As the car is right now, it does not run. The timing belt on the car recently broke while I was driving and this particular car has an interference engine. That means that the valves and the pistons inside the cylinder cross paths but are prevented from hitting each other by the timing belt. When it breaks, they can collide. I have not had the engine looked at thoroughly so I do not know the severity of the damage. It could be something as simple as replacing the belt and the water pump or it could be as severe as having to replace the valves or just replace the engine. If someone is willing to buy this car and put some time into the engine, it would be worth your while. Volvo makes a great car. They are VERY safe cars, the crash test ratings speak for themselves, and I have had no mechanical problems other than this. The car ran amazing when it was still going. I am the third owner and I have taken very good care of it. I bought it from a close family friend who also takes great care of his cars. Before that, it was purchased at an auction because the original owner needed a 4 wheel drive vehicle and could not keep it. There are a few more minor details that anyone bidding should know about: The front driver's side lock needs to be replaced. It will lock with the key or manually, it is just not powered anymore. There are a few blemishes in the finish (see photos), as well as a scratch on the hood. The front passenger window is off the track. It just needs to be placed back on. The right side mirror is missing a screw in the housing but it still works. Wear on armrest (purely cosmetic) Rearview mirror has a bubble in it. I have had this car for four years. If I could, I would love to have it for many more. Volvos are know to last a very long time. I hope someone will take it and take good care of it. Please take a look at the photos below.
