Vehicle Detail

Beautiful, fast and well handling 2000 Cagiva Gran Canyon! This is one of around the 300 or so imported in 1999/2000. Powered by the reliable two valve air cooled Ducati 904cc motor, this bike has all the get up and go a dual purpose bike could want. Two owners and meticulously maintained. The bike has the Fast By Feracci pipes and chip on it giving it a bit more pep and sound from the stock cans (sorry don't have). I had the seat redone by Sargent cycle in Florida this winter. The shaved the foam and added their atomic super cell foam, then covering it with their carbon FX vinyl, super comfy. The bike currently has panniers by happy trail products in Idaho, these are mounted on the moto-sport pannier racks out of Colorado. Bike just had an oil change and has always used synthetic, bike service has always been on schedule. The bike has a clear title. I just had a new front fairing painted since the original had a small crack in it, at the same time I had the two rear side-covers painted and new decals cleared over. The paint is a near dead ringer from the original, but if you look real close you can see a slight difference. I bought an European light switch that enables the headlight to be turned off, great for when warming up the bike. I also replaced the stock slave cylinder with a nice evoluzione billet unit. I believe the clutch cover to be a pro-italia unit. Bike is super clean and ready to ride on your next adventure! Bike is located in Bellingham WA, Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. There is one tiny chip out of the screen mount on the inside and is barely noticeable, you can see it in the picture. The screen has a smudge on it as well, it seems that with something other than plexus, such as a novus plastic polish would take it out. If you have questions, by all means ask away!!! On Jun-28-10 at 06:04:03 PDT, seller added the following information:The gran canyon also has the highly desirable centerstand, this one is made in the Netherlands from stainless steel. The only oddity is that the step for it is on the right side. It took just a few times to get used to it is all.
