For sale is my 1969 Porsche 912. Clear title in hand with receipts for restoration and original paperwork for the polished Ansen rims. This was the last year for the early 912 and the best year, it has the long wheelbase, with the most powerful aircooled four cylinder engine Porsche ever made (engine # 4096402) and the desirable 5 speed transmission.This is a numbers matching car (COA included) that spent most of its life in Las Vegas and is now with me in Goodyear, Arizona. It was a great affair, but not a long term relationship...my wife says I already have one of those....and there isn't room for 2 :-( !! The car is on it's original pans and there are no rust issues, pretty rare for a 41 year old Porsche with no rust proofing! I have spent a lot of time getting it cleaned up and back on the road after an extended period of storage of over 10 years! The fuel system, including the tank and lines, have been taken out and cleaned. I replaced the carpets, front and rear hood / trunk pistons, shocks and new battery with cut off switch. This car was originally yellow but an excellent windows out, bare metal repaint, has produced this bright shiney red girl! The 5 speed transmission shifts smoothly and the four wheel disc brakes stop the car straight and true every time. I put 70 miles on it last week and it drove great, it might have a few more at the end of this auction as I plan on driving it a little more before it's gone, call me a romantic. Headliner is near perfect, interior is in great shape with no tears or rips in the seats, front and rear. The dash does have a small crack in the middle..about the only blemish in an otherwise wonderful classic ride! These cars are just now beginning to be discovered by the collector car market.
