1967 Morris Mini Excellent condition!!!! 9 year old frame off restoration! No RUST! - Please note, the trunk is NOT rusted...the backing from the trunk mat has stuck to the surface of the trunk. It is simply a fabric that needs cleaned off, but appears to be surface rust in the photo. Vehicle was an 850cc/auto, now sports a late 80's new "gold seal" 1380cc MG Metro crate motor and 4 speed 1967 Cooper S manual tranny. This mini runs absolutely perfect - starts immediately, runs smooth, and has excellent power. The car has been converted to negative earth and alternator. I drive this car on the hottest of days in 90 degree plus weather and have no issues at all with overheating. The grill is removable, for easy oil changes, and has a wiring harness for the driving lights that sports quick disconnect fittings. Good = no rust, solid car, big motor/more power, superb handling due to the adjustable suspension that has been converted from a hydrostatic suspension, looks cool, VERY reliable (this is not your typical British Auto!), neat features like 1967 Cooper S reclining bucket seats, 1967 Cooper S front disc brakes, new wiring harness so every light and button works flawlessly, rare 1970's era Cosmic 10" rims, practically new Yokohama tires, good parts support, clean clean clean! The car even has authentic Kangol driver and passenger seatbelts. The interior has new carpet, seat covers, and a refinished dash. Even the turn signal light on the lever works!!! The roof graphics are laid in vinyl, as are the bonnet stripes. The side numbers (meatballs) are magnetic for easy removal. Bad = slight damage to passenger side door (cracked paint) caused by impact by item in shipping container when imported. (damage is covered by racing meatball number, photo is provided to try to show damage), speedometer cable needs replaced ($20 through Mini Mania), flawless aside from the obvious wear to the exterior that you would expect for a vehicle that is driven Keep in mind this is a REAL 1967 MK1 Mini, with a clear Ohio Title, this is NOT a re-vin or re-shell! You will not find a more reliable, fun, and beautiful Mini for this price! This Mini needs and wants a driver, hop in and cruise to the next show, have fun being the only Mini there! This Mini gets LOTs of attention be prepared to make NEW friends where ever you go! Collector car insurance for this car runs $120 a year through various collector car insurance companies. I am selling this car due to accumulation of medical bills, and will be demanding that this car go to a person who appreciates the special character and history of this car. A $500 security deposit paid through paypal is required within 24 hours of the auction ending, and arrangements for payment/pickup of the car are also required within 24 hours of the auction ending. Arrangements for shipping are the responsibility of the buyer. I am also willing to assist in the buyer picking up the car as well.
