Up for auction, '97 Subaru Outback wagon. 75k original miles. Bought last year mainly for winter driving, and the car served me well. I fixed a few small things and it passed NH inspection no problem. Changed the oil at 72k and the car has not used any oil or water since. This car has a little surface rust on the rocker panels, but NO rot anywhere. Car came from Boston MA area and it does have some bruises and scrapes. Interior is fairly clean, no rips, but does have some carpet wear and a few stains. Mechanically it's in average condition: Starts, runs, steers, shifts, and stops well. 2.2 sohc motor is known for going 200k plus. Clutch works great. Has 4-wheel ABS...I personally didn't like them in deep snow or on ice, but everyone tells me 'thats how they work'. A/C worked when I got the car, but now blows hot. Heat works really well. Rear wiper works only sometimes and rear washer not at all. I installed HID headlight bulbs and high temp sockets. Drivers side points too low, and I'm told they can only be adjusted by Dealers or Bodyshops? I bought the big shop manuals for the car (go with sale), and nothing in there about headlight adjustment. Tires have good tread (curb rash on pass side), and 4 almost new Bridgestone Potenza tires go with sale. Title is clear in my name. Selling to buy a Motorcycle.
