1974 Honda CL

'74 Honda CL360 for whole or parts. I think it needs an engine as it no longer runs. I bought the bike five years ago and was told it was a running bike but I couldn't get it started. A friend helped me clean carbs and we got it running but engine stalled on road test and couldn't get it running again. He thinks I need a motor and I haven't been able to find one I can drop in without a lot of work so I'm selling the project to the next lucky contestant. Bike came with two gas tanks and a whole bunch of parts that will all go with the bike. Parts include scrambler pipe heat shields (in addition to ones already on bike) headlight and wiring parts and some engine parts. I could probably make more on parting it al out but I'd rather see it go to a good home- it's a great little bike. Also, when I had it running all electrical items worked and charging system was fine. Bike also rode very well and stopped well. Engine does turn freely and seems to have compression but I don't have a tester. I have title from guy I bought it from and I never registered bike. Here in CT only a bill of sale is required for older vehicles but I do have title if you need it. My friend removed some engine covers to determine cause of problem and they're still off. have two extra right side engine covers and all screws to put everything back together. Can also reassemble if required but if bike does indeed need engine work that may be silly. You decide. Please, local pick-up only. I'll help you load it but I won't crate it or ship it.
