Please read this entire ad, you are looking @ a 1976 Cadillac EL Dorado convertible. Only 14,000 of these cars were built in 1976, this was the last year for this very impressive automobile. This EL Dorado convertible runs & drives very well, you can't even feel the transmission shift. This car has excellent power & is as smooth as can be. All of the factory options work, the AC will need a charge & the compressor is working fine. We were going to convert it to the synthetic AC but thought that the serious collector would want it original. The leather interior in this car is soft & clean, the carpets are clean as well . The convertible top is in good shape but needs to be re-sewn @ the back window. The top makes noise when we hit the button, but is not going up & down? The body on this fine classic is great with only two blems (pictured) the paint is blistered from age but appears to be original. The odometer reads 16,994 this car has had two owners, the last owner had it for over 25 years. We were told this is the original mileage, but we think the owner meant that it had 116,000 miles which is still very low considering it's age. In the trunk is a parade boot (leather) You'll also notice the very rare turbine factory wheels (nice) This is a wonedrful car to drive & should makes it's next owner very happy. We are Reliable Auto Sales with two locations, one in Palm Springs Calif. & one in Ventura Calif. This car is located at our Palm Springs location. If you are a Calif. resident & win this car we will collect a $50.00 smog fee, a $55.00 documentation fee, any lic. fees that may be due & state sales tax. If you are an out of state resident we will not collect the smog fee & lic fees. If you are driving this car out of state we will still have to collect the sales tax. Your state will credit this upon registration, if you are transporting we do not collect the sales tax. We are sure this car can make just about any trip anywhere, as it runs very well. We will however recommend that you transport it as the tires have weather cracks. We replaced the brakes & master cyl. in this car, as it has been sitting for over 5 years, all fuel lines were also replaced & the car had a complete tune-up. We also had the tank boiled out & sealed. We will work with your shipper, but the cost of shipping is your responsibility.
