Up for auction is a 1988 Toyota Tercel 4WD Wagon. The vehicle does not run; the transmission is busted and out of the vehicle (in the back seat as shown in the pictures). The vehicle lost its transmission in October 2007 and has been off the road ever since. The vehicle had been running good up until that time except the air conditioner did not work. The radiator is new, having been replaced during the summer of 2007 and the parking brake cable was replaced shortly before the transmission crapped out. The power steering pump has a leak. There is no spare tire and no tire jack. Also, there is no driver seat/shoulder belt. The front quarter panels are damaged (left side from an accident, right side from rusting) and he drivers side of the front bumper support has rusted out. The vehicle is good for parts or as a project car for someone into restoring cars. Since the vehicle does not run, the winning bidder would have to have the vehicle towed/transported/shipped. The vehicle is stored in zip code 12553. Any winning bid would be considered as a contract to buy the vehicle and will not be retracted. All sales are final; no returns. Payment: For the winning bidder, a $200.00 deposit must be made within 48 hours of auction ending, via PayPal only (no checks, please). Full payment can also be made via PayPal. If deposit is paid then the full balance must be paid within 14 days of auction ending, to be paid upon vehicle pickup, via cash, a US bank cashiers check or a US Postal money order. No other form of payment will be accepted. Vehicle pickup: It will be the buyers responsibility to secure transport/shipping of the vehicle from its storage place. Pickup by appointment only within 14 days of auction ending, preferrably on the weekends, between 9am and 3pm. Should buyer wish to pickup on a weekday, morning appointments are preferrable.
