Very Rare Black on Black 100% Original 1989 CRX Si with only 54K documented miles. I am the fourth owner of this CRX and I have personally talked to all of the previous owners about the vehicle and all of the documented miles that they drove the CRX for. The car was owned by the same woman who purchased the car new and drove this CRX for 18 years. This CRX was purchased new at Faulkner Honda in Harrisburg PA on August 19, 1989. I have all of the documented service records from Faulkner from 1989 until 2007. There has been very limited miles driven on the car since 2007 however the second owner replaced the timing belt, water pump, crank and drive seals as a precaution just based on the number of years on the car, not the mileage or anything being wrong. This work was performed on April 24, 2009 at that time the CRX had 46,337 miles on the car. The details I have about the car that need to be disclosed. The climate control has a small crack which does not effect anything. It is a design flaw that the CRX climate control guage is known to have. A replacement can be purchased new if you desire. The CRX was tapped very lightly in the rear bumper back in 2003. This is listed in the Carfax which I will supply a copy of to the new owner. The CRX rear bumper was repainted. There is paint that is bubbling in the drivers side rear wheel well. The car body feels 100% solid and is rust free. The interior is 100% spot on. Please see the photos they really show you how well this car has been taken care of. I personally spent 8 hours detailing the outside of the CRX with a three step waxing process last year when I bought the car. If you know CRX's the door panels are usually nicked up and have holes from the seat belts being closed into the door jam. The package tray cover is usually ripped at the hinge point, the original muffler is long gone and replaced with non OEM mufflers, the seat bolsters and floor mats are usually worn. This is not the case on this CRX, as I said its perfect. I added MB Quart 6.25" speakers, two in the door and two in the back. These are mounted in the factory mounting locations and look to be 100% stock. They sound great. A Honda OEM CD player was added to the dash to replace the tape deck. I owned a 1990 CRX Si brand new in 1990. The CRX's came from the factory without a radio and air conditioning. These were dealer installed options and this CRX had both of these options installed in 1989. This CRX has already been converted to R134A refrigerant and the system was just recharged. The AC is Ice Cold. I drove this car last year, 12 hours to Indiana from Washington DC and had zero problems. This car is 100% mechanically sound. I installed a new battery six months ago and have used Mobile 1 for the oil change I had done last year. This car is 21 years old and anyone that looks at it, is in awe of how good it looks. I drove the CRX to Fort Wayne on Sunday about 250 miles round trip. I averaged 35 MPG with the AC running cold the whole time. On this CRX everything works, rear defrost, heat and AC, power moon roof, all gauges, hatch and fuel door release they all work. This CRX averages around 35 MPG and is going up in value every year. I am not desperate to sell this beauty and I hope that it goes to a great Honda enthusiast such as myself. I have a clear Indiana title in hand.
