Talk about a rare barn find. Here is an authentic convertible with rebuilt 318 engine, not sure if its number matching engine, the block does not have any stamped numbers but the cast date is 12/69. This Convertible have two fender tags; The first tag reads: R11 V5X Y05 EN1 G33 L31 M31 M91 N85 P37 V3W A01 A62 C16 C55 C62 FC7 H6XW 000 A24 064954 E44 D31 BH27 G0B 167*** The seconds tag reads: BODY IN WHITE SPECIAL MASK SPECIAL PAINT SPECIAL ORDER The first five pictures were taken before the car was disassembled for full restoration/show. The car is solid with few minor rusted spots on the floor/windshield frame. The rear quarter panels are good, the doors and fenders are primered. The flat hood is in good shape..perfect for a SHAKER HOOD. The power top worked great but the stitches are loosen. (no, I won't sell the conv. parts separately ) All windows work great (manual) and the glass is good except the windshield and the rear glass is good. IT IS A RALLYE GAUGE CAR!!. The grille looks good , has a couple of small cracks. The front and rear valances are in good condition. I doubt if you'll find unrestored convertible in this condition. The odometer show 78,899 miles on it. This car could be parted out for big bucks but it needs to go to someone who will restore it the right way. It needs few metal patchings work but the car is truly is great shape, I have parts from other barracuda for the rusted spots as seen on the pictures.I've tried to capture its condition in the pictures.
