Up for sale is my 1946 chevy streetrod truck. This truck has power windows, a/c, tilt wheel, disc brakes on front, flow master exhaust, and boyd coddington wheels. The information that i am listing is from the guy who built this cool truck. He spotted this truck on ebay the first time i had it listed and e-mailed me with the correct info.....so here goes. The engine was a brand new GM crate motor, and it has a new TCI tranny. The front has been clipped with a 81 camaro and the rear is a 70's nova. The wireing harness is from PAINLESS......either a 18 or 20 circut and the a/c is from SOUTHERN RODS. The rear springs are fat chassis. The gas tank was also new when built. It has modern guages, and a rockford fosgate stereo system. This truck is all steel, except for the running boards, they are fiberglass, and the paint is a Dupont Centari Acrylic Enamel with clear coat called Black Cherry. Builder of this truck said he has over $26,000 in receipts on this build....before the boyd coddington wheels, and that the truck apprised for $32,000. I printed off this e-mail just to help document this awesome truck. This truck is a driver, not a trailor queen......because it does have a few scratches and/or pecks here and there, but is still a very nice ride....inside and out. A real head turner, and get lots of attention and car shows and just around town. It looks better in person than the pics. I would say it is a solid 8.5 on a scale of 1 to 10. The paint is very glossy. There is no rust on this truck. All glass on this truck is good and the engine compartment is chromed out. There is a few minor mechanicle issues that needs to be addressed if you are mechanicly skilled....i am not. ......The timing is off just a little { according to a friend of mine}, maybe adjust the brakes.....you get the picture.
