This is a Great project VW Convertable for the price. I had bought it in Hawaii for my wife and we drove it for 2 years before moving to the mainland. I have had it garaged for 6 years since and doesn't look like it will be restored by us soon. It will need restoration. The soft top is gone, i still have the frame bows. The Floor pans will have to be replaced, Rust.... I have most of the interior but will need to be restored. Missing back bottom seat, stolen in Hawaii during a vacation. :-( Rust on the back rail for mounting the soft top. Chucks convertible had replacements for 90$ http://www.chucksconvertibleparts.com/rustparts.php The engine brain box will most likely need replacing The engine is out of the VW. The engine was rebuilt with new Fuel Injection heads less that a year before it was parked, 6 years ago. The engine rebuild was done at Joe's VW in Honolulu.The VW is not in running condition. The Car does Roll.I have most all the parts. No major parts missing that I know. This is a project VW. If you need additional information I am willing to answer any questions you have. On Jun-23-10 at 20:12:27 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added several pictures of the Soft Top frame and back window with rear defrost. The canvas and padding are gone. Tossed them years ago. There is rust on the frame top. The bottom is not so bad. No cables. The wood bow is there but not in good shape as you can see in the picture. The top folds at the hinges easily. The hinges look good to me. Thanks for the good questions.
