Vehicle Detail
1976 Triumph Tr6 ( Original Survivor ) with 54,000 original miles. This car sat from 1983 and was not Registered Until about 4 months ago, so it was only driven for approximately 7 years max. I have a copy of the original Texas title before it was transferred to Oklahoma. This car was a texas car its whole life and was NEVER WRECKED, DAMAGED, OR RUSTED OUT. Please review the pics from before it was painted, that is the FACTORY ORIGINAL PAINT in the before pics. This 1976 Triumph Tr6 comes with the beautiful JAVA GREEN paint, and black interior... Please note the seats, door panels, and interior panels are all original and still soft and plyable, but I have replaced the carpet. I have a replacement Dash Pad and Bolster panel that will be replaced this week, they just made it in a little late. Brand New Roll Bar was installed recently, and is a nice compliment to the styling. All the guages are Original and working perfectly, along with all the lighting and interior lights.. I havent replaced the original steering wheel, because I felt who ever ended up with this car may have their own preference to style. Due to its time in storage, I have replaced the Tires and all the Hydraulics for the Brakes and Clutch (cylinders, hoses, master cylinder, slave cylinders, wheel cylinders) I have also installed a Brand New Water pump, Radiator, Thermostate, Radiator Hoses, ect. I also installed a NEW Fuel Tank, Fuel Pump, Rebuilt Carbs (original to car). The car drives down the road great, and the Engine did not need a rebuild (Holds great OIL PRESSURE, NO NOISES, NO SMOKE, and REVS SMOOTH). Everything is original to this car with the exception of the ELECTRONIC IGNITION. All the Smog (Pump and Plastic Lines) are completely original and and working order to this car. This car really only needed flushing and a tune up for the Mechanical, and still has its original Parts that are in Original Working Order. I replaced the original Exhaust with Pacesetter Monza Performance Dual Mufflers, and it sounds awsome. The Transmission Shift as it should and is extremely Smooth and Quiet ( NO HOWLS, GROANS, WHINES, ECT) The Electric Overdrive works perfectly and is extremely smooth and Quiet also (NO HOWLS, GROANS, WHINES, ECT) Look at all the Tr6's you want, but do not purchase one unless it has the Overdrive, it makes it a REAL ROAD CAR. THE TRANSMISSION AND OVERDRIVE WORK AND SOUND AS IT SHOULD WITH THE MILES THAT ARE ON THIS CAR. All the electrical is in perfect shape and works as it should... ABSOLUTELY NO WIRE TAPPING OR SPLICING. No overheating or discoloration of any of the wiring and is still wrapped in its original tape and insulation. All the Undercoat you see in the pics is ORIGINAL, there has been absolutely No Touch up involved. This Car has never had any rust out, including under the battery tray ( How often do you find that? ) Original Floors, Original Rockers, Original Quarters, Original Trunk, Original everything.. AGAIN, PLEASE REVIEW THE PICTURES AFTER DISASSEMBLY BEFORE PAINT. All the Paint in the Engine Bay is Still complete and Original at this time. I could have freshend up the paint under the hood, but I am hoping someone appreciates the Nice Orginal Condition. Again, there is nothing to hide on this car. I have replaced the weatherstrip for the Windshield to Frame, Windshield Frame to Body, Door Sill, Window sill and Felt, Trunk Rubber, Light Rubbers, Hood Stops, Hard Top Rubbers.. The only Bad thing is, I had damaged the windshield during install and havent replaced it yet. It would be an easy fix, since the weather strip is new. Please review the BEFORE PICS and notice all the Original Dust Shields are still inside the doors. Again, everything on this car is original and in great shape. Please feel free to contact me any time if you need additional information or pictures, I am always available at 580-263-0454 Robert. The Paint on this car is DuPont Base Coat/Clear Coat, and is only a couple of months old. The tires only have about a 1000 miles on them, and are in perfect condition. Here is a video link to a walk around, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBNbxzl-o2Q I have a very reasonable RESERVE for what this car is, and I will entertain offers.. I have seen MYSTERY Restoration cars bring more than I am asking for this one. I do have the car advertised locally and have the right to end the auction at anytime. These cars are hard to find in the pristine Body Condition this car was in before freshen up, so there is no hidden issues like alot of the Fully Restored cars offered for sale. This car only needed a Cosmetic Restoration, ABSOLUTELY NO PATCHING OR WELDING AT ALL. All the original undercoat is underneath car and is still rubbery, no need to redo at all.. On Jun-03-10 at 12:38:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Here are some additional pictures in my Photobucket account.... http://s290.photobucket.com/albums/ll255/Iamtheonlyreal1/1976%20Triumph%20TR6/On Jun-18-10 at 08:36:16 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had the Seat Foam Rebuilt this week, and the pictures do not indicate. So please ignore the very noticable emptiness of the foam in the pictures posted... Also, I have a BRAND NEW set of 1" lowering Coil Springs for the car (Still in the Box), these also come with the car.. I thought it would be a nice finishing touch and had ordered them awhile ago...
