I NEED THE SPACE, SO HERE IT IS... THIS IS THE BEST DEAL YOU WILL FIND ON AN ALL STEEL WIDEBODY 911s CABRIOLET. THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT, I UNDERSTAND CERTAIN PURIST WILL NOT LIKE THE GENERAL MOTORS TRANSPLANT, BUT THE PURE ECONOMY SHOULD SELL ITSELF, NOT TO MENTION THE EASE OF PARTS AVAILABILITY. SHOW ME A CHEAPER STEEL BODIED WIDEBODY 911s CABRIOLET THAT RUNS AND DRIVES NICELY? 1976 Porsche 911s with the ALL STEEL Widebody conversion along with the Cabriolet Conversion. But that isnt the only conversions with this car, it has been converted to a General Motors Vortec 4.3 liter Roller V6. This is a very economical and dependable addition to this car, without sacrificing power or performance. The Engine was recently rebuilt and ready to go with WRAPPED performance headers, HEI ignition, Edlebrock Carb, BeCool Radiator and cooling fans, Remote Watepump, ect. The engine is mated to the Porsche 5-speed transaxle with professional built adapter plate, which allows easy maintanence.. The engine can be completely Removed from the Car in a 30 minutes or less, with out even Jacking the car up or Removing the Rear Deck. The Radiator and cooling fans are mounted in the Rear of the Car, so there has been NO BUTCHERING OF THE FRONT TRUNK. With the V6 conversion, versus the V8 Conversion, there is plenty of room for the Rear Radiator. So there is no need to run plumbing from the front of the car due to a Manditory front mount radiator. This is car is a factory Air Conditioned Car, so a Factory General Motors AC Compressor can be mounted and plumbed into the Porsche AC Components with ease. The over all condition of the car is DRIVER, it is not a show car.. The Body is Rust Free, and straight. The paint Shines, but has chips and imperfections (Looks Awsome at 5 Foot). Dont get me wrong, this is a very nice looking car, but I dont want to mis-represent to the conclusion it is show ready.. The top is only a Couple of Weeks old, and also had the headliner replaced. These are very tasteful 19 inch 3-piece wheels and Hankook Z-rated tires, that cost me about 3000 dollars. The car drives great, and is used as a daily driver.
