1987 Toyota Pickup Truck 4x4 I have for sale a 1987 Toyota Pickup (Hilux, pre-Tacoma) with the following features: 5 speed manual transmission 4x4 with manual locking hubs 22r carburated motor (4cyl, known for its reliability) Alloy wheels with 31 10.5/15 tires (~40% on front and ~25% on rear) Straight body/frame The truck drives, runs, and stops fine. The 4 wheel drive functions throughout the entire range of gears. The brakes function adequately. All lights and lamps are functional. The major problem with the truck is that it overheats. After 20-30 miles it starts to run very hot. The engine hasn't been significantly overheated but this problem needs to be addressed promptly. I'm offering delivery of this truck for a fee, see below The odometer reads around 95,000 miles but I believe that has no bearing on how many miles the truck or engine has. It's anybody's guess. I got this truck as a project and don't have time to work on it any longer so I'm not too familiar with it.
