Vehicle Detail

You are looking at a 1981 Custom El Camino. I bought it in January of '09 as a project car and have redone the body. I have also redone the inside. The Exterior: The hood scoop is built out of an after market Z28 hood. The 3rd brake light on top is also form a Z28. The bed cover is built out of a Ford Tonue cover. The tailgate has been shaved. The outer skin of the tailgate is from a 87 S10, for the Hi-rise letters. The back fin is from a Z28. The front bumper has been chopped 3 in., shrunk, sunk back under the body 3 1/2 in., and smoothed off. The grill has been smoothed off. The back bumper has also been chopped 3 in. and it has 1963 Corvette tail lights in it. This El Camino also has a tow hitch. The Interior: The seats and console are from a 1994 Z28. The dash has been taken all the way down to the plastic, redone, and redesigned. It has 4-point harness seat belts. It has a Kenwood stereo with a set of 6X9's. The gauge cluster is made of diamond plate. It has a tackometer, speedometer, oil gauge, temperature gauge, volt gauge, and gas gauge. I have patched the floor pans where it was needed. I have also taken out the back glass and added a sliding back glass. The colors of the car are Titanium Grey and Viper Blue. The rips have skulls. The bed cover is black with a hint of Viper Blue sparkle in it. The entire car has been sprayed with a gallon and a half of clear coat. Under the Hood: It has been equipped with dual electric cooling fans. The motor I built has about 5,000 miles on it. It is a 350 bored 30 over, 270 cam, with a 452 lift. It has 10 1/2 to 1 compression and is pushing around 400 horsepower. It also has a 650 Holley carborator with a Holly Street Dominator Hi-Rise intake. Flowtech headers, cherry bombs, 350 turbo transmission. It shifts on the floor. And it does not use any oil! I finished it around January 2010. It has two minor cracks on the top back, and two on the hood. This El Camino has a CLEAR title. This one's done, so it's time for a new project. AS IS, NO WARRANTY! LOW RESERVE. Happy Bidding
