1953 MG TD Roadster VIN# TD20035 Exterior Black Interior Red Milage 70911 This MG TD has a 5 year old restoration. Paint is a 7 of 10 a few chips and scrapes. All have been touched up. Body has zero rust. Wood is in good shape no rot. No dents or body damage. Chrome bumpers and trim are in very good shape mostly redone at time of restore. The only flaw in the body is some cracks in the hood around top hinge.(shown in photos) Fuel tank was just replaced . Old one was rusting from inside. (new tank was 1000.00 plus paint and bodywork).Carburators and fuel system were rebuilt and cleaned at this time because of rust particles. Engine is rebuilt and highly detailed. it has aluminum valve cover and finned oil pan. Recent valve adjustment. New exhaust. original solex carbs with original air filter case. New fuel pump. Engine compartment is painted body color .all hoses and lines have been replaced. Wiring harness has been replaced with cloth covered factory style harness. many new switches and electrical parts. all lights and switches work. Newer battery Chassis is clean and detailed. all suspension has been painted and rebuilt. Vehicle handles as well as a td can and tracks straight and true. no vibrations. brakes are rebuilt and dont pull left or right. Interior has been completly done in red . red leather seats and red carpet. interior is a 8 of 10 . some minor flaws from use..no rips or tears. Top is new Stayfast canvas material and black. perfect condition. window is clear. all side curtains are included and are in very good original condition. passenger side clear plastic has some yellowing and scratching but not bad. just from storage as they were rarely used. Tires are new (under 100 miles) custom BFG wide whitewall Radials. Spare is new also Options Chrome AMCO luggage rack Badge bar with period correct Lucas driving lights Stayfast Canvas spare tire cover Moto Lita wood rimmed aluminum steering wheel Custom car cover This TD is ready for your local show or weekend cruising. It is part of a small collection and is being sold to make room for a new toy.
