One of the first BMW delivered, it was originally purchased, serviced and fully maintained since purchase at Bob’ BMW in Jessup, MD and always stored in a controlled climate garage. This machine is the ‘custom’ version and is the most fully equipped of the three versions originally offered by BMW with the maximum chrome offered. The electric windshield, trip computer, 6-disc integrated CD player, 1120 watt sound system, adjustable, extra padded and heated seats, padded back rest, true speed control and heated grips all contribute to an incredible ride. Reverse gear always makes parking a snap.ABS brakes. The bike is wired for CB with the OEM antenna mounted. The sound system has dual volume and switching controls. The hi-visibility LED brake light is dealer installed. There are no damages on this motorcycle. This K1200LT has a super smooth, comfort ride with true pillion passenger comfort while still maintaining the performance of a BMW. With windshield fully extended and music playing, pillion passengers have fallen asleep while on a ride. It is a true luxury tourer, single or two up and remains the standard for performance and ride in its class. Located a short distance from Reagan National Airport, I will assist the new owner who chooses to fly in and ride the bike home. All work has been done at Bob’s. A $550.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction closing and the balance must be paid in cash upon pickup of the motorcycle. Were it not for personal health issues; I would not be selling it. I have also been asked if there is a center stand and there is, although it is not motorized as in later models.
