A very hard to find truck in the Southeast. Moved here from Arizona. An unmolested 1978 Datsun King Cab 5 speed, front disc brakes, plumbed for factory AC(missing the compressor and dryer), equipped with factory bucket seats, console and radio. Titled in Florida. Can be driven daily. Runs fine. The body is completely original and is in amazing condition. The only discernible dents are a scrape on the left rear of the box and a small dent in the area of the feather stripes on the lower right door panel. Being a western truck, there is very little rust on the truck. The previous owner bought the truck after it had been sitting for seven years in the high desert after the original owner's death. He replaced all of the fluids, hoses, belts, ignition wiring, all front end suspension components and bushings, all front and rear brake components and hoses, the master cylinders for the brake and clutch, the slave cylinder for the clutch, center support bearing and the housing for the drive shaft. A new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing were installed. The 5-speed shifted fine so only the fluid was changed. The gas tank and radiator were flushed. A new battery and battery cables and a new electric fuel pump were installed. New fuel and brake lines were installed, new wiper blades, new heater hoses and four new tires were installed. The tires were balanced and the front end was aligned. The pollution equipment was removed but is still with the truck. The carburetor has been rebuilt. Since all the work was completed, the truck has developed a small leak from what appears to be the rear main, which unfortunately was not replaced when the clutch was replaced. There are two small cracks in the left side of the windshield which appear to be stable, both are small enough to be repaired. The truck runs and looks good. Feel free to E-mail me any questions. I had requested this in March and they had trouble getting the glass and the gasket. I had given up on them, but am going ahead since I had already set thing in motion before I decided to sell the truck.
