IT IS FINSIHED IN IT'S ORIGINAL COLOR OF CORVETTE DARK RED AND COMPLIMENTED WITH A BLACK LEATHER INTERIOR. IT CAME IN ON TRADE TO A LOCAL CHEVROLET DEALER OON A NEW CORVETTE AND WE PURCHASED IT RIGHT FROM THEM. IT IS POWERED BY THE ORIGINAL #'S MATCHING 350 MOTOR AND BACKS TO A 3 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. IT IS OPTIONED WITH A LUGGAGE AND ROOF PANEL RACK, CRUISE CONTROL, AIR CONDITIONING AND A TILT WHEEL. THE PAINT AND BODY LOOK VERY NICE FROM EVERY ANGLE BUT THERE ARE A HANDFULL OF MINOR BLEMS HERE AND THERE BUT NOTHING THAT DETRACTS FROM THE VERY GOOD OVERALL LOOKS. IT HAS SOME CUSTOM WHEELS ON IT AND THEY LOOK NICE BUT YOU DRIVE IT DOWN THE STREET YOU CAN HEAR ONE OF THE CENTER CAPS RATTLE AROUND A BIT. THE INTERIOR IS ALSO IN VERY NICE SHAPE AND SHOWS WELL. THE ONLY NONSTOCK INTERIOR ITEMS ARE A CUSTOM WOOD STEERING WHEEL AND A KENWOOD CD PLAYER WITH CUSTOM SPEAKERS. THE STEREO SOUNDS NICE BUT THE CUSTOM SPEAKER BOX BEHIND THE SEATS NEEDS 1 SPEAKER REPLACED. MECHANICALLY THE CAR FIRES RIGHT UP AND SOUNDS GREAT. IT HAS BEEN UPGRADED WITH A WEILAND ALUMINUM INTAKE, CARTER COMPETITION CARBURATOR, ACCEL COIL, CHROME AIR CLEANER, AND CHROME VALVE COVERS. WE JUST RAN IT THROUGH OUR SHOP FOR AN INSPECTION AND WE FIXED A FEW ITEMS THAT WERE SUCH AS REPLACED 3 BRAKE CALIPERS, FRONT BRAKE PADS, BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER, POWER STEERING HOSES AND REPLACED THE BATTERY. THAT BILL ALONE WAS $900. IT IS A VERY NICE OVERALL CAR BUT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WOULD NEED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF TO BE AN EXCEPTIONAL CAR. THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM IS COMPLETE BUT DOES NOT BLOW COLD, THE EMERGANCY BRAKE COMPONENTS ARE MISSING FROM THE REAR END, THE SPARE TIRE CARRIER IS MISSING, THE HEADLIGHT DOORS HAVE A VACUUM LEAK SOMEWHERE AND DO NOT GO UP AND DOWN BY THEMSELVES, SOME OF THE WEATHERSTRIPPING IS DRIED AND COMING APART, THE WATER TEMP, OIL PRESSURE AND TACH ARE NOT WORKING(PROBABLY JUST SENDING UNITS). THE ODOMETER SHOWS 49,554 MILES AND ARE UNSURE IF THAT IS ACTUAL OR 149,000 MILES. THE IMPORTANT PART IS THAT THIS IS A NICE STRAIGHT RUST FREE #'S MATCHING CAR THAT LOOKS GOOD AND RUNS AND DRIVES WELL AND REALLY ASIDE FROM SOME MINOR MECHANICAL REPAIRS YOU CAN DRIVE AND ENJOY THE CAR THE WAY IT SITS AND WORK ON IT SLOWLY TO MAKE IT PERFECT!!!
