up for bid is my vw beetle. i had not planned on selling this until recently when i decided i needed the cash and realized i would never get around to actually restoring it like i wanted to. the body on it is really straight, never had any body work done to it. it does need to be repainted and there a couple of small dings in it, nothing major at all just a few quarter size dings, and a 6 inch dent in the back fender thats barely even noticable. the interior does need to be reupholstered. the seats, the side panels and the vinyl on the ceiling all need to be redone. the engine is in perfect running order, it runs very well, fires on all four cylinders, recently had some mechanic work done to it, cleaned the carburator, and had it tuned up. for the price it is a steal for anyone that has a little bit of time to put into reupholstering the inside and fixing the floorboards. the only real flaw with the beetle is that the undercarriage has some rust. underneath the drivers seat the floor is starting to rot and needs to be cut out and a new piece welded in or to get a whole new floorboard to install. i hear that you can get a floorboard for fairly cheap and install it yourself very easity. these are all just small projects to get it in top shape which i just do not have to time for anymore. if you have any questions or would like to see more pictures of anything specific just email me at travish2000@hotmail.com or call me at 480 586 7896. thanks for looking!!! travis
