Here for your consideration is my 01 Dodge diesel 4x4. It has the proven 24V Cummins 245 horse diesel power house. It is in perfect running condition with not a single leak. Upgrades: It has been upgraded with Bosch 275 injectors, computer reprogram, and free flowing air filter and exhaust. The injector pump was replaced with a hot rod VP 44 worth around sixty more horse. At the same time the entire fuel delivery system was upgraded to high flowing connectors, Walbro 392 lift pump and a big fuel line kit. The clutch was just replaced about six months ago with a south bend stage 2 setup. It is a high end clutch made to handle the power this cummins is belting out. The transmission is the hard to find and bullet proof New Venture 5600 six speed. It has the good old granny gear first and a over drive that lets you just sail down the freeway at whatever speed you desire. It as well as the transfer case were just serviced and filled with synthetic oils. Just down from there the drive shaft has just been redone with new u-joints and carrier bearing. The front Dana 60 axle has just been freshened up with all new tie rod ends,u-joints,ball joints and wheel bearings. So its ready to steer strait for many more miles. The brake pads for the front AND REAR discs where changed about a year ago. The lift is made by Fab Tech. Its a 4 inch setup with the longer front control arms and Rancho rs 5000 shocks. It will clear a 35 inch tire with ease. I am currently running 285/75/16's on aluminum alloy wheels. Seems to be a good tire size for clearance and mileage. Speaking of mileage, if you drive sane this truck will give up to 21 mpg. The interior is in fair shape. There is a small rip in the drivers seat from climbing in and out. The dash also has cracks but could be hidden easily with a dash mat. And of coarse the carpet has some stains. Other then that its pretty clean and definatly comfortable. The body and rear bumper has some small dents and scratches because its been used as a truck. But a good wash and the blue pearl paint still will make you smile. I hear all the time its a good looking truck. Overall mechanicly it is sound as a dollar. It has no issues and should not have for along time. I venture to say that if the next owner takes care of it like I have, it will be in the cummins million mile club. I would not hesitate or think twice about putting a 15,000 pound trailer on back and letting the wife and kids drive coast to coast. Ok, details details. The finace company is still holding the title as I am currently still making payments. However I can walk in the bank to pay off the loan and they will mail me the title in 7-10 days. Not a big deal but has to be mentioned. As you can see by my feed back I give a honest deal. My reserve is set just a hair over the loan closing costs so you stand a good chance at grabbing a great truck alot less then others are selling for on buy it now.
