1988 Jeep Wrangler YJ Rock Crawler Highly Modified and built for rock crawling. I have owned this Jeep for several years and used it very little. I will attempt to list all the modifications but if there are any questions feel free to ask. Drive Train: The motor and electrical system were swapped out using the parts from a 1991 wrangler for the fuel injected 4.0 inline 6 cylinder motor. This motor was then replaced with a new rebuilt motor before being installed and get air through an ARB Snorkle. The 5 speed manual transmission is the stock Puegot transmission. The NP231 transfer case was rebuilt and a slip yoke eliminator kit was installed. The rear drive shaft is a custom Tom Woods High Angle drive shaft. The rear axle is a Full Float Ford 9 inch with Warn Drive Flanges, ARB airlocker and 4.56 Precision Gears. The front axle is a Dana 44 With 4.56 Precision Gears and an ARB Airlocker. The steering is a flat top knuckle steering setup with hydraulic assist. Suspension: The Jeep has approximately 9 inches of lift with consist of 4 inch Skyjacker leaf springs and the Spring Over Axle (SOA) set up which also uses Tera Flex Revolver Shackles on all 4 corners. Wheels and Tires: The wheels are black American Racing steel wagon wheels with custom 32 bolt beadlocks and are wrapped with 37x12.50 Super Swamper Radials with some cuts from wheeling but are well over 90% tread left. The Jeep comes with 5 matching wheels and tires. Body and Frame: The body has some dents and evidence of wheeling and some rust in the tub floor but is over all in ok condition. There is a 6 point roll cage that was is welded to the frame. The interior consists of Master Craft Rubicon seats with 5 point harnesses. There is also a Grant Steering wheel and a B&M shift knob. The front bumper is a Poison Spyder Customs Pro Stinger Bar and the rear is a Wilderness spare tire carrier which was modified to hold a large High Lift Jack. I also have a Warn 9500i winch that stopped working and I took apart to fix but never got around to it. Extras: As you can see in the picture there is a hard top and hard doors on it now. I also have a tan soft top and soft doors and also a tan tonneau cover, wind jammer and bikinni top which are also included. Disclaimer: The tub and transmission are the only original peices on this Jeep from 1988 everything else has been rebuilt, upgraded or replaced. The actual milage on the newer parts is less than 2000 miles. Due to work and military obligations I was not able to use it. This Jeep had been sitting for some time and I hate to part with it but can't see it sit any longer. All work was done by myself or I witnessed it being done.
