No matter what I did this morning, it was either my digital camera or the upload sequence that cause the video to skip a little, but for the most part you get the jist of what's going on and what the cars about. I hope you buy you won't be disappointed check out my feedback. 1971 Cadillac Sedan DeVille 3rd owner, All original - nobody altered this vehicle in any way V-8 ~ 472 cid engine & automatic transmission Teal with teal/ greenish interior & green vynl top cruise control rear defogger am/fm radio "Wonderbar" power windows & seats electronic eye & auto lighting power steering & power brakes FAQ's Does this car run and can I drive it home safely? A: YES! This car is a daily driver for me since I bought it last year. My newer car bit the dust and I am forced to drive this car on a daily basis. The brakes are good and tires are also good. This car was recently checked by Firestone a couple of months ago. It was given a fuel return hose and new battery cable ends along with a check up. Also, I bought a $200.00 battery "Diehard dry cell" Platinum from Sears. You can drive it anywhere as it is a dependable vehicle- if you can afford the gas. From where you live in Ohio, will this car make a long trip back to where I live safely? A: Yes! I have driven it to Fort Wayne, Indiana to see my dad this past Memorial day. I paid dearly for gas though. I have also driven it to Columbus, Ohio & Akron, Ohio just about twice a weekend. Is there anything wrong with this vehicle that I should know about? A: There is a hairline crack in the front driver's window/ passenger side from right corner down about 4 inches. Not bad enough to be illegal, but will need to be fixed or replaced. Safe-Lite Auto Glass is the cheapest best way. They come to your driveway- you saw the commercials 1800-safelite. You can also put nail polish hardner on it and it will make a nice temp fix until you can fix it. I have not gotten in trouble yet for it. It isn't an unsafe deal so ...you still want it fixed, but not going to be a problem right away since I drive it daily. The air condition doesn't work- I am not sure if it needs a charge or a compressor. The heater works great- it has climate control. the cruise control works & it has a rear defogger with two speeds that blows on back window, it works! The radio works great! It does not have a cassette nor does it have an 8 track. This radio is just a basic am/fm Wonerbar with push button technology from 1971. The exhaust is quiet, has a small hole in tailpipe but not loud at all. You can replace later. Car runs quiet! The engine runs smooth and transmission provides a smooth ride. There is some minor rust, but easy to fix. The floors are solid! and fram is good. There is a small rust hole in trunk, but easy fix. Ebay has parts available for this car and there is a wide variety of reproduction parts available for this car too. Pretty much you can buy anything for this car body and mechanical wise- collectors; you know this! Some paint peeling, but minor cosmetic work will be needed. I have only own the car for less than 5 months & I really haven't had much time to tinker with it. Right now I need a practical automobile so I can go back to work soon if I get hired in the next week. This car is a classic auto and an all American classic! It is presentable and it is an eye catcher. It is almost 40 years old and originial. I would like to keep it but I need a practical car for everyday use- so it is one or the other for me but maybe not for you if you can enjoy this car like I do. This car gets a lot of attention where ever I go. My famous saying is ...."It wouldn't be America if you couldn't enjoy the dream now no matter the cost, cause if you wait too long you'll be too old to enjoy it later".
