1973 BMW 2002 w/ Sunroof I am the third owner of this car. My brother bought this car in the early 80's from the original owner. I bought it from him in 1995 and drove it for many years. It has been sitting on my property since 2005 and not driven but it still runs. You can get in it and start it right up. It will need mechanical work and a complete restoration, something I meant to do as I love this car, but I have just run out of interest in the car after gathering everything I need to restore it including, new door seal, trunk seal, tail light seals, front hood seals, and sunroof seals and cables. I have the sunroof for the car, and chrome for the windows, new felt, but not the body chrome that goes around the car mid door and mid-body. I have the original Solis carburetor, air cleaner, all new seals, 320 rims with P600 Pirelli tires with 70% tread left, fuse box covers, and too many things to mention. It has a scratch on the passenger side of the car (see photo) that I did myself moving it off of the property. I scraped it on something when it was too close and did not notice I had damaged the car. This car is straight, and to my knowledge never been in an accident. This is a no rust car. The extra parts alone are worth a nice chunk of change. I just don't have the space nor the time and I regret this ad as it is a good car that I wish I had room for. This car has no tickets on it and a clear title. I has not been registered since 2005. I have the original pink slip for the car. I am revising my listing as I thought that this was an auction style format and what I selected was not. Additionally, I have an extra rear end for the car that is sitting in the car now ready to go with the new owner. The scratch is more like a crease. It has indented to body.
