Vehicle Detail

I have listed up for bid one very, very clean 1966 Chevy El Camino. There is nothing that you will have to do with this El Camino except drive it. Most everything has been gone over or restored. This El Camino was originally sold in California and I bought it from there also. The person that I bought it from rebuilt the engine a year or so before I bought it. I purchased it April of 2007 with around 43,500 miles on it and it now has 47,297 miles on it. It has the original 327 V8 275 HP engine and automatic 2-speed transmission, new wiring harnesses under hood including the fuse block, new switched light under hood, new valve covers, new Milodon oil pan, new water pump, increased the size of the radiator, added new cooling fan, new thermostat, new battery, new brakes and power booster, replaced carburetor with a Carter 4 barrel, sandblasted and painted intake manifold to match the carb, new K & N 9” air cleaner, replaced valve cover stickers with new 300HP stickers, removed and sandblasted exhaust manifold, new dual exhaust, mounting brackets and Flowmaster mufflers, had new vintage air installed, new aftermarket gauge package (fuel, battery, temperature & oil), added an original 66 Chevelle knee knocker tach, replaced radio with a new AM/FM radio conversion using the old face plate, bezel and knobs from old radio, new dash speaker and rear floor speakers behind the seat, new interior, Calif. stitched dash pad, new door panels, carpet, headliner and seats, new seat belts with retractors, new outside air, temperature and defroster control cluster, relay for starting car (security), electric fuel pump with on and off switch, new inside mirror, all of the glass is very good condition, 5 new redline F70 14” Firestone bias ply tires, 5-6” powdered coated black rims, 4 original 1966 Chevelle dog dish hubcaps, I can’t tell if the body has any putty, if it does there’s not much, the body is without any dents or scratches, the paint is in really good condition and this El Camino doesn’t’ look like it’s ever had a complete paint job, although the bed has been repainted, bumpers are in really good condition, rest of chrome in good condition also, all lights, turning signals, all work the way that they should. I’m sure I have forgotten something, but can’t remember. This is a very special 66 El Camino. I have tried to keep it as stock as possible. This El Camino is only driven a couple of times a week. I can’t remember a time when someone hasn’t made a comment on how nice it is or gives me the thumbs up. Feel free to call if you need any more information. Home (602) 494-4425, Cell (480)216-2532. GOOD LUCK IN YOUR BIDDING! Thanks, EdOn Jun-03-10 at 20:41:07 PDT, seller added the following information: The first two pictures of my 66 El Camino in my ad show the wrong dog dish hubcaps. Those dog dish hubcaps are for a 68 Chevelle, Camaro or El Camino. I put the wrong pictures in the ad by mistake and couldn't change the pictures because there were bids. The dog dish hubcaps that are on my El Camino now are original 1966 Chevelle, Camaro or El Camino dog dish hubcaps. Sorry. Ed
