This car is not in showroom condition but is a beautiful '55 that was in the process of a full restoration when owner passed and has been in storage till I bought it. It has newer very shiny paint (few chips and little imperfection), bumpers appear to be new (flawless), newly rebuilt or remanufactured 272 V8 (like 6 miles on it, why painted blue I don't know) with Fordomatic transmission, newer dual exhaust in good shape, new Battery, and brand new seat upholstery (just put in 5/21/10, the rest of interior is original in ok shape). It runs and drives great (still a 6 volt system so can be hard to start at times) but for some reason has to be in neutral to crank (switch somewhere?), there is a crack in the two front side windows (film between glass on these so not going anywhere) and one in the side of windshield (passenger side off to side and not gonna spread), and the windshield wipers aren't coming on and I haven't looked into that yet as I would never drive this in inclement weather. The floors are solid and the underside of car is undercoated. I also have the skirts for the rear wheels (also painted but one bracket missing in one wheel well to hold in place) and the sideview mirrors (holes were filled when body work was done and never put back on) in the trunk This is just not what I need right now though I would love to keep it. I think that is everything, I just added some underside pictures as requested (string going across the underside is just for the car cover), please feel free to ask any questions, this is a very nice car for $5,000.
