1968 AMC AMX for sale that is being restored. This is a 390 car, but I don't have the motor and transmission for it. I have been working on this car for about 5 years. All of the body work has been done, there is no bondo at all on this car. It is a rostissory car. It has been bead blasted which cost me over a $1000.00. I have all the bad parts of the car replaced to included drivers and passengers floor panels, wheel wells and other rotted areas. The car has been painted, but not buffed out( about $4000.00). The only part that isn't painted is the rear corners and the headlight frames.The color is Tourbo Silver which is its original color with black strips. The interor is all new, but not complete, I believe I have all the parts to complete it (tan which is the original color) The rear bumper has been rechromed, but not the front bumper. The drivers side remote mirror is brand new and cost me $400.00. The front end has been rebuilt. I have changed the leaf springs all brand new. all the glass is there except for the front window. I accidently dropped something on it and cracked it. All new steel break lines installed, all new gas line installed. I do have the gas tank, but I believe it has a hole in it. All the doors have new hinges, the doors just need to be aligned. New door seals..The steering wheel I had redone which cost me $800.00. The seats have brand new covers. I had Just Dashes redo the door panels and arm rest which cost me over $1200.00. I have a lot of extra parts that go with the car...If you have any questions please ask. I know I will not get out of it what I have into it, but I don't have the room for my other projects. I will not give this car away. Once complete it will be worth quit a bit of money.
