You are bidding on a low mileage 1971 Triumph GT6 MK3 (66k) where restoration was started by the previous owner -- but not finished after a vital part of the transmission (main shaft) was lost at the transmission repair shop. The transmission is therefore not installed, but all other transmission parts are included in the sale – along with a few other parts removed from the motor (including carburetors). The car is a true California car - spending most of the time around the Santa Barbara area. The only serious rust to be repaired is limited to the bottom of three (possibly four) of the quarter panels (next to the wheel well – a well know problem for this model). Reinforcement repairs on body-floor (underneath the driver seat) have been completed – see attached photo. Otherwise no serious rust spots have been noticed. The car is obviously in a “non operable” condition sold as-is - with no guarantees given with this sale. Buyer will be responsible for arranging and paying for transportation from seller’s location (Morgan Hill - CA).
