Up for sale is a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. This is a 2 door car that has lots of potential. The 3800 engine in this car runs very strong and still has lots of life left in it. The transmission shifts very smoothly and the car is an overall GREAT runner. It DOES need a wheel bearing replacement, but I have the wheel bearing for the car, I just have no time to fix it myself and I don't want to pay the labor for such a simple fix. The resonator tube that goes around the cat converter has a hole in it that I've been told (by a mechanic) can be EASILY patched. Those are the ONLY mechanical problems with the car. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to take this car on a cross country trip. The tires are in great shape with at least 80% tread left on the back and probably around 60% tread left on the front. The interior of the car is dirty and will need detailed. The exterior is overall in really good shape for the year of the car. It does have a minor dent in front of the drivers side door that is not even noticeable when you are more than 10 feet away from the car. The car has 156xxx miles on it and it just had a fresh oil change done to it. The car is ready to be driven. For a small fee I can even have the wheel bearing put on for the buyer.
