1966 Chevrolet Corvair This is really an excellent find...No rust Arizona car. Two owners from new, I am offering this car on the behave of the family of the second owner. The current owner is in her late 80's and can not drive anymore. She has owned the car since 8-20-1976 and has a huge folder full of receipts dating back to the purchase date. The car runs and drives excellent. The transmission shifts smoothly and cruises along without a hitch. Unfortunately they won't have a garage to keep it in by the end of June. This is a 140hp quad carburator model but in the mid-1980's the owner decided she would convert the car to a dual carburator set up for better fuel mileage ( remember the gas shortage back then?) but kept the intake and the carburetors so it can be put back to stock (see photo of the trunk). The top is in very good condition and the rear window is still very clear without any cracking or dis-coloration. It always starts right up and idles smoothly. Comes with the original owners manual, folding top manual, warranty book and protect-o-plate. I had the car looked at to make sure there wasn't anything wrong, and what we found are the valve cover gaskets are seeping ( common problem on these ) the glove box won't open and there is a tear in the top part of the driver's seat ( see photo ) other then those items it's ready for a summer cruise...
