Up for auction with a low reserve is my 1998 VR6 Jetta. Reserve is less than half of NADA clean retail value. This car has low miles and is as mechanically perfect as you'll find on ebay. The interior and exterior show normal wear and tear. Recent repairs done are the following: New Interstate battery, Both front ABS sensors, New rear shocks, Front wheel bearings, 4 new Toyo Proxy Tires, Alternator- Starter (both Bosch), front coolant pipe- waterpump- thermostat- tstat housing, surp belt, Clutch, o2 sensors, Coil-wires-sparkplugs, ect.. This car drives straight, stops straight (no brake pulsations) or any strange noises or vibrations. Everything works as it should except for the cruise control. A/C is ice cold. You can drive this car reliably, anywhere, now. I planed on driving this car for a number of years and repaired it accordingly, to be reliable however my situation has changed. Got a good deal on a TDI and I'll be driving that for the next few years. The sale of this car is my loss and your gain. Please look closely at the photos and pay attention to the exterior cosmetic flaws that I'm going to describe. There is a 'key' scratch along the entire length of the drivers side of the car. Previous owner had a nasty ex-wife. The scratch is very visible but is NOT down to the bare metal. Should be an easy fix for the right person. I've had estimates from $600 to $1k to fix. Or touch-up paint for about ten bucks. The front and rear bumpers have scuff marks from touch parking. There is a small dent on the lower right rear door, its hard to see this one. A ding can be found above the right tail light. I've sold a few of my cars and motorcycles here on ebay over the years with great success (see my feedback).
