Vehicle Detail

Driven only occasionally by my lovely bride, a retired little old school teacher. This bike has some dings on it from bumping things in the garage and there was a carrier on it which left some screw holes in the passenger hand rail. The little old school teacher was fine, though, once she got it out of the garage. The good news is that it has low mileage for its age. It was well cared for and was kept in a garage all of its life. The oil was changed every autumn regardless of miles to keep impurities from settling and it was kept on a battery conditioner during that time to keep the battery up through the winter. The bike had the original battery in it this year, which was showing some sluggishness this spring, so we replaced it. She starts right up and runs just great. Took it to the dealer for oil changes and a look over. Last autumn, the valves were also adjusted when we did the oil change. So the bike is ready to go without any maintenance due for some time. It is an automatic, so there is no clutch to bother the rider; you just pick up your feet and twist the throttle, not necessarily in that order. There are two brake grips for front and rear that should be used evenly for even drag on both wheels when stopping. It has a parking brake that works great so you can park it on any grade without concern for the bike slipping. It has a spaceous glove compartment in the front, which is great for papers, scarves, extra shoes, or a snack. The storage area under the seat is also very spaceous. One can easily get a couple bags of groceries in there. She has plenty of power for a 250 auto. I am a big guy and she will get me up to 50 in no time. Would not want to take it on the interstate, but would not hessitate to take her for a long ride down a state route. Dual headlights are nice and bright too, in case one wants or needs to ride at night. Reason for selling the bike is that she just doesn't ride it anymore. I have two of my own and don't want to care for a bike that isn't being used.On May-23-10 at 22:20:43 PDT, seller added the following information: Driven only occasionally by my lovely bride, a retired little old school teacher. Front tire still looks great. So the bike is ready to go without any maintenance due for some time. Still lots of tread also left on the front tire.
