One 1976 Pontiac LeMans 4 dr sedan. I purchased this car in 2004 and completed the restoration as a police car. This is not an original LeMans Enforcer, it s is a replica, or clone of a police car. This car is a base model LeMans with manual windows and locks. I added the AM/FM/8 track player & rear speakers to replace the original AM radio. The original radio antenna was in the glass, which worked poorly. I installed a mast antenna on the trunk lid. The actual mileage is less than 59k. It had 52k when I purchased it in 2004. Equipped with a 250ci 4.1L straight six cylinder engine and a TH350 automatic transmission. The engine is strong with NO noise or smoke. starts right up anytime. Trans is solid & shifts smooth and quiet. It does however have a pan leak. The rear end is a 3.08. I installed a rear stabilizer bar. Tires have less than 10k on them. The spare is new and never used. Wheels are 15x7 steel. This car has been garaged since I purchased it and only driven in good weather. This car was repainted the original color prior to 2004. It is show-able, but not perfect. There is no damage, but with any older paint, there are small chips & scratches. Many of the photos show the car with a 1977 LeMans grille, I liked them both and would switch them occasionally. You will recieve both. Also notice the front bumper and header panel were changed prior to my ownership, hence the hood ornament and front rub strips and guards. The interior is in excellent show condition. The door panels, rear seat, headliner & dash are all original. The dash pad is cracked and covered. The front seat bottom was rebuilt and recovered using original vinyl. The package tray is new also. All of the factory lights/electrical work. I wired the car for power trunk, but was unable to locate the correct solenoid. The fuel guage works, however it occasionally sticks on full. I installed a police certified speedometer. All of the glass is excellent. The trunk weatherstripping is new. The door weather stripping is original and in very good condition. The trim is all very good to excellent/NOS. Carpet is new. The car was shown as a police car with lights,radios,etc. They will be removed prior to sale unless other arrangements are made with the buyer. I drove it to events in NYC and Washington DC. This car does have some minor issues; Trans leak as stated above. The Air Conditioning works, but does not blow cold. The catalytic converter was removed and replaced with flex pipe, you may wish to replace it. The water pump should also be replaced. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. It is very comfortable and reliable. If the buyer plans to driveit long distance home, I will replace the water pump. The brakes are all good. I have always maintained my cars and this is no exception.
