You are looking at a Limited 2000 Ford Excursion 4WD with a V10. My wife and I purchased this vehicle in 2003 with 60,000 miles and became the second owner. We have 7 children and the size of the vehicle worked very well for us! In fact, the first time one of our daughters rode in the vehicle, she called it a "Monster Truck"! well the name stuck all these years. We only have a few children (teenagers) left at home now and they have their own cars, let alone don't really like us anymore, you know how teenagers are, so we really don't need the vehicle any longer. We have used this vehicle as a daily driver and have taking many long trips which explains the millage. Overall the vehicle has not had too many issues, the V10 engine runs as good as it did when we first drove it (you could pull a house with it if you needed to), and the interior is very quite and comfortable. The gas millage is not so good at 12 MPG but the range is close to 500 miles between fill ups. The vehicle has not been in any accidents other than the side view mirrors meeting up with the garage doors on occasion. Both mirrors still work but should be replaced ($180 a pair and are very easy to replace). We have changed the oil and maintained the vehicle on a regular basis, which explains why it runs as well as it does. Brakes, starter, alternator, battery, and tires all within the last 5,000 miles. In addition, one very common issue with ford engines is the bolts that hold the exhaust manifolds on the engine rust and fall off so we had all of them replaced last month ($1,500). This vehicle has a keyless entry and a third row of seats, which is removable. We are selling the vehicle "As Is", with no additional warrantees or guarantees.
