PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!! This auction is for a 1989 Honda CRX Si with 110,455 miles. Her name is "Lucy". I got together with her in August of 2004. I have had a few other CRXs. This one I kept to fully restore her from the ground up. As you can see in the pictures, the only thing Lucy needs is a body makeover. That is it!!! Interior is in MINT condition. The seats are from a '91 CRX Si and are MINT. The '89 CRX Si seats were torn. I spent $425.00 for the seats. Mechanically, the car runs 100%. The following is a list of work that was done using Honda OEM parts (I have receipts for all work listed below): 11-18-08: Timing belt/waterpump; Alt. Belt/ A/C Belt; CAM seal; Crank Seal; Valve Cover Gasket Set; and Valve Adjustment; New Clutch and Pressure Plate, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and rear main seal; The following parts are aftermarket parts: 11-18-08: Driver/passenger inner tie rods, driver/passenger outer tie rods and lower ball joints; Total came to $1,431.00. *** For the work done on 11/18/08 the mileage was 109,215. On March 4, 2009 the following was done: 1. 4 new Tokiko struts and I purchased H&R Springs. The springs are a 1.8 drop. Suspension is superb. Parts and labor totaled $550.00. *** For the work done on 3/4/09 the mileage was 109,945. The alternator and starter were also replaced, I do not have receipts for this as my friend replaced them. The battery was also professionally relocated to the trunk of the car. The most recent work done was one month ago, which was converting my A/C to the R134A system. New A/C condenser, I had to replace one A/C line and while I was there, the radiator looked a little old so I put in a brand new radiator, upper and lower radiator hose, and a new thermostat. A/C is ICE COLD. I also installed 4 brand new tires, size 185/6514 and a four-wheel alignment. The rims are from a Honda Del Sol. Additionally, Approximately two years ago, I had an alarm installed. It is a "Clifford G5, Model: IntelliGuard 750 with Blackjax. The alarm along with the Owner's Guide is included in the auction. The Blackjax feature provides a safe and effective means of recovering your vehicle after a carjacking by monitoring the door input, brakes, and engine speed. If your pincode is not entered, Blackjax will activate the siren within 30 seconds and the engine will shut off. More information can be found online. When full payment is received, I will give you the pincode and explain how to use it. It is very simple. The body of the CRX is in good condition, however, it does not reflect the outstanding condition of the interior and mechanical aspect of the vehicle. I took very good care of her. As you can see in the photos, there is some minor rust in certain areas of the vehicle. The driver's side door has a dent in it (it was parked in a parking lot and some idiot hit it and took off). Rust on both rear quarter panels (minor)and a little on side where the hatch opens. see photo) I have gotten various estimates for the body work/paint and it ranges anywhere from a $1,200.00 - $1,700.00 (for quality work). The sunroof panel currently on my car works great and has no leaks, however, it does have some minor surface rust. The car runs and drives like new. In a nutshell, whoever gets the opportunity to commit to Lucy, ALL YOU NEED is body/paint and she will be as good as new. If you intend to fly down to Fort Lauderdale Airport and drive the vehicle back, I will be more than happy to pick you up from the airport.
