This is a very well maintained, 3 owner 1986 300zx. Car runs and drives excellent. Can be used as your daily driver without hesitation, weekend cruiser,or for your local car shows. This is not a "project car", but a very well cared for driver, all power options work. Car has always been garaged both at home and at work. Was driven about 120 miles per week on average. Sale includes owners manual, t-top bags, t-top shades. original plenum cover, and original air cleaner unit (if wanted). Currently has a new Lifetime K&N Air Intake and Cone filter. Car sits on new Bridgestone Potenza G009 tires on 1987 300zx wheels purchased new from Nissan. I have a set of 86 turbo wheels with lugnuts available for pick up only for an additional 375.00 over high bid if desired, (tires have tread but are old and unsafe to drive at higher speeds) I included 1 photo of what they look like on car. Car was repainted 12 years ago by previous owner with PPG Base Clear. Car still shines like most new cars, with only minor imperfections here and there. Previous owner said there was a small spot of rust on the very bottom of rear quarters that was repaired at time of painting. No visible signs of rust on car currently. Car is wiped down each day with a California Duster to keep paint brilliant and reduce need to wash car. Car is being sold "AS IS" with no warranty. Although I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere it is 24 years old. Test drives are available by appointment, Professional Inspections welcome at bidders expense. This is probably the most reliable vehicle I have ever had. Reason for sale is lack of garage space, have 2 other Z's and 2 family vehicles. Would love to see this car go to a Nissan/Datsun enthusiast who will care for it. Only upgrades I could possibly see is 17" wheels and a turbo conversion. List of new and recent parts installed. Water pump, timing belt, cam seals, crank seal, crank sprocket, tensioner, 3 OEM Nissan belts, Brake pads all four corners, rear caliper, front and rear endlinks, sway bar bushings, new tension rods and brackets, new oem style muffler with exhaust, new AC compressor, fuel pressure regulator, new CAS distributer unit, K&N Lifetime filter and intake, headlight switch, MSA smoked headlight covers, dome lens, rear-view mirror, t-top knobs, custom red/black shift boot, red/black leather shift knob, custom Nissan 300zx floor mats, resurfaced flywheel, clutch, new slave cylinder, new clutch master, new custom braided clutch hose, custom painted plenum cover from an Infiniti M30, New KYB struts and shocks all 4 with boot covers. New CD Player with MP3 input and remote control.Plus many other cosmetic and mechanical parts. Cat Delete. Only "issues" if you call them that is the windshield washer pump has a leak(I never used it but can be replaced easy enough), Gas guage drops to 'E" when gas is less than 1/2 tank. The voice warning system and light do come on when low on gas. Occasionally one of the hvac actuators makes some noise, most likely a small vacuum leak, most the time doesn't make noise but AC blows cold and heat blows hot, all adjustments work properly including AC, Heat, Defrost etc. The one accident reported was a rear end at a stop light. Top of bumper was scraped, bottom of drivers rear tail light cracked and dent in rear quarter. Bumper didn't need replacing but I did purchase a new bumper, tailight and car was professionally repaired. I have photos somewhere. $500.00 is due within 24 hours of auction close.
