Vehicle Detail
This bid is for a 1997 Acura 3.0 CL 2-door coupe. This vehicle has power everything including seats, windows, locks, sunroof, mirrors. It also has auto defrost on the rear window and the drivers side mirror, A/C, auto thermostat, heated seats and a BOSE SOUNDSYSTEM with CD player, leather interior and a 6 cyclinder V-tec engine. This vehicle has 134,768 miles on it. It strarts and the engine runs good, it recentlly had a new starter installed and the rear brakes were replaced about 6 months ago. I have had the vehicle for about 2 1/2 years, and during that time it has had regular maintenance. The transmission slips when cold, but after it warms up it runs fine. I have been using the gears in a manual mode until it warms up, and haven't had any problems with it. It started making a strange front end noise, so I took it into the shop to be told it needs a left and right front axle, left hub and bearing and a front end brake job, and the front tires should be replaced. (they also noted it probably shouldn't be driven out of town, so arrangements to tow might need to be made)The tires were put on new when I purchased it, and I have put 40,000 miles on the vehicle, and the right front tire was replaced a year ago, so thinking the axle wear might have something to do with the tires needing replaced, and the axle problem might be part of the transmission problem as well. There is a ripped seam on the front seat and a tear on the side of the front seat, but other than that the interior is in great shape. The front bumper has scratches on the left and right side, the left side is deeper. Lastly, the metal strip around the front window is popping up on the drivers side and the passenger window needs to be put on track (motor on the opener is working). The care needs a little tlc, so if you can do the work on your own, you could fix it up and have a sweet car for yourself or maybe for the new driver in the family!
