Hello all my name is Tim, and we have up for auction with no reserve and a opening bid of only 99.00...A 1969 Datsun Roadster that is a true barn find.....Before you place a bid please look at my outstand 100% positive feedback score and bid to win.... I have sold many Collector type cars over my 13 some years here on e-bay and I am going to call it the way I see it...I may not hear very well but my eyes are great....You will have no surprises upon pick up of the Datsun...So hear we goooooo. My neighbor lady down the street moved out of her home into a retirement home..This car belonged to her husband who passed away almost 30 years ago and the car had just been sitting in there garage covered up since 1979!...Yes 1979 was the last time this Fairlady was on the road..The only rust I see on the car is the right rear has some blisters behind the tire towards the bottom as pictured....And thats it!...The floorpans,trunk,fenders,doors and rockers are fantastic..You have probably heard this line before so here it goes again!....Would find it hard to belive you could find another one unrestored in this price range with no rust like this one,......there is a small dent as pictured next to the trunk lid on the left top side,and a dent as pictured next to the right rear of the license plate.and the front left valance is pushed in a little as well.......All of the body issues could surely be taken care of from a novice body and fender man......Also need to mention in the trunk next to the Gas filler there is a crack in the metal about 4 inches.How the world that happened I have no idea...The original color on this car was probably Silver!...Tires all hold air,it rolls and turns nice.Emergency brake works as well.............. Ok now for why it was parked 30 years ago!....Something wrong with the syncro in 5th acording to the 85 year old brother!.As I understand you have to pull the engine to tackle this task....The radiator,shroud,fan,and driveshaft had been pulled as to start the job in fixing the transmission...Car ran great prior!..The Brother can not remember why the valve cover was removed?..Everything is in the trunk and in fantastic looking condition..... The interior is "WELL" very very dusty!...No mice,rats or other looks to have ever made its way inside!...The spiders are another story....A good clean-up on the inside along with a carpet kit should make it a fantastic driver...
