This is a very cool 1960 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. The early model Karmann Ghias are the most desirable and are becoming increasingly rare. These cars were named Karmann Ghia because they were designed in Italy by Ghia and the bodies were hand crafted in Germany by Karmann Coach-Builders. This car gets plenty of attention everywhere you take it and I have enjoyed taking it to shows and cruise ins all over South Florida but now I must sell it. This is a South Florida car and it is very solid. It sits on its original 1960, numbers matching pan. It has 84,201 miles which are believed to be original but can not be verified. The body is painted a metallic pearl white. The paint is in excellent condition and shows very well. All of the trim and chrome is original and is also in excellent condition. The interior has been completely redone with no expense spared. The original seats were stripped to the frames and covered with custom red vinyl. It has a custom padded dash, custom made door panels, custom made headliner, and new carpet. The car has been driven less than 200 miles since completion. The interior alone cost over $2,000.00 This car is powered by a 1600 dual port engine with 60 horsepower. The engine runs flawlessly and has been freshly serviced. It has the original 4 speed transmission that shifts through all the gears perfectly. This car has no known mechanical defects. The car has been lowered considerably with a 6" narrowed front beam. The front wheels turn excellent and they do not rub. The car does not bottom out, not even on speed bumps. It sits on freshly powder coated wide five steel rims with trim rings and VW center caps.
