This is a super nice chevelle that we have owned for about 5 years now. We bought the car at the Russo-Steele collector car auction in Pheniox , Arizona. Just prior to that is had received a full frame off restoration. The car has been kept in a heated building and driven only on nice days in the summer time. We have enjoyed the car very much and gotten alot attention at local car shows and rod run type events. As you can see from the pictures it is forest green metallic (code 48) on the outside and has a black interior with bucket seats and console. It has a " "period correct nom" 350 horse 396 engine and a close ratio muncie (m-21) transmission. The rear end is a 12 posi with 3.08 gears. We had the ratio in the rear end change just to make it a little more fun to drive, with all of the torqe of the big block it still pulls really hard and is a little more fun to drive on the highway. We will include the original 3.73 gears with the car if anyone would like to back to those. We do not have a build sheet or protect-o-plate for this car and it is missing the trim tag on the firewall, just to let everyone know up front. I don't know if you have to think of it as a clone or not at this point but we want to be honest with everyone. We don't have any reason to think it was not an original ss but we do not have the documentation. It is a really nice big block, 4-speed, convertible chevelle however.
