I bought this Fiero used about six years ago and average driving is one every two months. I had put some money to do a major tune-up and changed new muffler. This baby is in the garage all the time. In the beginning, I tried to save this Fiero for my future projects as conversion to be a electric car but I really don't know how to start the project yet. However, economy down turn, I have to move next couple months to the place that I can not have a room this baby with any more. So if you interest, feel free to place your bid, there is no reserve. The Fiero is in driving condition The body is good but need new paint on top. Manual transmision is good Brake system are good Emergency brake need to replace the cable. Engine working fine accept some time it had high ide. When it come to this problem, I have to left the engine on for few minutes then turn off and turn on again then the ide goes back to normal. I had read this was common problem of the Fiero back then, however I first intend was conversion to electric so it does not bother me for that. Head light both side functioning very good. Because it is going has one problem after another and the labor is going cost you a lot as time goes by. Second, as I saw many times when I drove from San Diego to Las Vegas, even the new Mercedes-Benz was broken down on the freeway. Why? Because new car they are using more sensor around the engine to monitor signal more than the old car, so when it is broken down, the only way to fix is tow back to the dealer, diagnostic to see what sensor was failure, then replaced. This Pontiac Fiero was built in 1984 and Buy Now price is $1000 not a $15,000 or $30,000 dollars car. And even $50,000 dollars car, you still need to pay for maintenance every three to six months so please do not think that you buy any and get away with maintenance. Finally, this Pontiac Fiero SE is an old sporty little car with some fiber glass body and simple engine without to many sensor and 2.5 liter engine. This car in good condition which compare to 1984 not 2000 or 2010. Just the money that I put into this car (without cost of the car itself) was more than what I am selling it for. So if you won the bid for this car and come test drive on freeway with me, after that if you change your mind that you do not want the car, it would be fine and you will not loose any money nor bad rating.
