2005 Triumph Rocket III

If you are looking at this Rocket III you probably know about the unbelievably powerful 2300 cc 140 cu engine and sport bike handling. If you don't check out some of the motorcycle magazine reviews then compare the specs to a Harley and any other cruiser/touring bike on the market. It has all the power to keep up with the sport bikes and yet I am comfortable on any 700+ mile day. I bought the bike in 2009 from a Dr. who had put around 2000 miles on it since new. Since then I have taken two 4000+ miles trips through all most every state west of Texas and into north west Canada. Never had any problems with the bike and have change the oil with Ams-oil after every trip. Current tires have about 2,000 miles on them and should be good for at least 3,000 miles more. I don't do a lot of heavy acceleration from a stop so I tend to get closer to 8,000 miles out of a rear tire but most of the guys I know with Rockets get around 5,000. The bike is mechanically perfect however the bike itself does have a few minor scratches that I tried to show in the pictures. There are a few scratches on the tank that I believe could be buffed out. They are fairly shallow and I have tried to show as best as I can. Please feel free to call me anytime and I can send a few more pics. The Corbin fairing (yes i'm a Corbin but no relation) has a small scratch that I covered up with touch up paint. The bike has several $1000's worth of extras, I don't even want to total it up that would be too painful. The Corbin fairing and driver back rest alone are over $2,000. I currently have a 10 inch screen and that works great for me and I am about 5'11". The bike also has Triumph Off Road Pipes, Tune, and Cat Delete all from the factory. I have added the sissy bar which I had extensions welded on for additional height, the luggage rack, and passenger foot boards.
