I purchased this Avalanche 7 months ago as a weekend project/toy. It was bone stock when I bought it. I'm the 3rd owner. The 2nd owner was a local friend of mine and I have known the truck for some time. The 2nd owner bought this truck from his father in law so it has been owned by people that all know one another and know the history on the truck. In the 7 months of ownership, I have only put about 1300 miles on it. I started a new job so the truck stays in a heated/cooled garage 99% of the time. No expense was spared on this truck! I used only the best, upgrade parts available. The truck has a clean title with no accidents. I will state the following, I had someone run a key along both sides of the truck 2 months ago at the Memphis airport so I had both sides of the truck repainted and they look great. I'm very particular about my cars so I made sure the pain looked perfect. This damage was filed with my insurance(USAA) and a police report was taken at the airport. I have a copy of this report if any interested party would like to see it. It was simply someone running a key down the sides of the truck. When I bought it, the steering was sloppy. The local dealership replaced all steering components to the tune of $1300. It now steers like new. This truck is the rare 3/4 ton version with 8 lug axles and the big block 8.1. It is a truly amazing truck and turns heads wherever I drive it. I'm only selling since I travel with work so much and never get to enjoy it. Upgrades I added over the last 7 months: K&N Air system Dynomax "bullet" exhaust Pro-Comp 6" lift kit - Currently set about 7" Bilstein 5100 chrome shocks(ride like stock) Pro-Comp chrome skid plate Brand new CV axles Powdercoated differential cover(rear) 2008 Hummer H2 chrome wheels with 37" BFG MT tires 1.5" wheel spacers on rear axle(keeps front axle and rear axle widths the same Brand new front and rear bumper covers(I hate rock chips and scratches so I replaced both) Powdercoated bowtie on grill All new factory GM inner fender liners Brand new headlights and foglights(stock units had some yellowing and fading so I bought brand new replacement units) Pioneer CD player, Memphis Audio speakers 5% tint on rear windows, 20% on front windows Let me know if anyone has any questions.
